Wunderman boosts mobile commerce with Scots firm

mobileWunderman Thompson is aiming to beef up its mobile commerce offering to clients with the acquisition of NN4M (No Need 4 Mirrors) for an undisclosed sum.

Launched in 2005 by former Intergence Systems chiefs Jonathan Heap and Carolyn Burnett, with ex-Jaeger and Mothercare general manager Lorraine Howard, the consultancy is headquartered in Edinburgh and has a staff headcount of about 50.

It delivers ecommerce mobile applications across multiple markets and regions, with a client list that includes Selfridges & Co, Saks Fifth Avenue, Karen Millan, Nestlé, JD Wetherspoon and River Island.

The company specialises in mobile solutions that span multiple touchpoints, including smartphone, tablet, apps and in-store experiences and builds bespoke apps to help clients advance their channel strategy and support customers in the places they want to interact.

NN4M will form part of the global ecommerce consultancy Wunderman Thompson Commerce, boosting its commitment to delivering effective cross-channel engagement platforms.
