Most Dangerous Dogs

2 – Rottweiler

Rottweiler is an intelligent, fearless dog breed developed in Germany. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), between the years of 1993 and 1996, Rottweilers were responsible for half of all deaths caused by dog bites in the United States.

A Rottweiler has an extremely powerful bite: 1,190–1,500 newtons. The Rottweilers strength makes it all the more dangerous. The Rottweiler is one of the oldest of  watch dogs. With a history possibly dating back to the Roman Empire.

Rottweilers are now used as Search and Rescue dogs, as Guide dogs for the blind, as Guard dogs and Police dogs.  In isolation, this dog breed might not be the best option for kids.
